ABOUT

MatStudio, founded by Claudia Baldi, develops commercial and residential projects throughout Italy and Europe. Inspired by and connected to modern everyday life, MatStudio creates spaces where people feel at ease, environments that combine needs with personality, and commercial spaces that function as narrative tools.

Claudia Baldi is an Architect and Adjunct Professor of Interior Design at the School of Design of Politecnico University of Milan. She teaches at the University Master in Retail Design and Store Planning and the Master in Interior Design at POLI.DESIGN and Scuola Politecnica di Design. In addition to lecturing internationally, Claudia also serves as an Expert in design for culture-intensive industries for Fashion In Process, a design research collective initiative at the School of Design of Politecnico.

Designing is making the invisible visible. It’s creating a perfect synthesis between dreams and needs. It’s putting our technical skills at the service of our imagination.
